Celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the IWSCA and revive the Irish Water Spaniel Art Show!
Location: Eukanuba Hall
Time: Evening

We have so many talented individuals in the IWS community…Some are Artists! Some are Art Connoisseurs! Some just are!

Be a part of an art show for all our members! If you’ve created, received, or purchased any non-commercially produced, IWS-theme item that you’d be willing to share with the IWS community, this is the time to show it off!

The show will open with the Kickoff at Hospitality Suite and run for just one evening. There will be a Judge’s Choice Award and a People’s Choice Award from votes cast during the event. Ribbons also will be awarded for first through fourth place for both the Judge’s and People’s Choice Awards.

All Irish Water Spaniel Art Welcome! This is a Non-Juried Art Show, meaning entries are not pre-screened or pre-judged for admission. All media type is accepted: 2D, 3D, photos, crafts, mixed media, paintings, drawings, sculpture, etc. The “Art” will be grouped into the themes found in the new Illustrated Standard, e.g. Head, Topknot, Feet, Tail, Temperament, etc.

Participation is easy! Complete an Entry Form that includes a waiver of liability and pay a small entry fee prior to the specialty weekend. The owner of the art work will be responsible for bringing the item(s) to the show and taking it away afterwards. Any display/set up requirements (easel) must be provided by the owner. We will provide tables on which the works can be placed and volunteers will be on hand to organize and arrange the display.

Volunteers needed for setup of the event.

For the art collectors this is a great way to show off your treasures. For the artists among us this is a great chance to show off works that you are donating to the Live or Silent Auction. It’s also a great way to showcase your talents which might lead to a commissioned work. All items that are donated to the Live or Silent Auction will have the entry fee waived.
